Drill

1/8” Bit (Pilot Hole)

5/8” Bit

3M 4200 Fast Cure

1” Wrench

3/4” Socket with Extension

1. Mark your holes through your template.

2. Use the 1/8” bit to drill you pilot hole.

3. Check your pilot holes against the template.

4. If matching, then drill the 5/8” hole.

5. Clean the area around the hole and in hole if possible with solvent and let it dry.

6. Once dry the place 4200 inside the hole and around the bolt. Place a small amount around the underside of the bolt head.

7. Insert bolt and turn it into position. Remember you will want to have the ability to place a spanner wrench on the bolt head when installing different devices.

8. Clean around bolt head to remove excess 4200.

9. Let dry for 24 hours.

Your Tech 1 Fastener is self-draining however a wipe down with soapy water when you wash your boat will keep it in perfect shape.
